Preservation Dallas: In Town Outing to the Henri Etta Eidt House
Join Us for a special In Town Outing to one of our fabulous PAA Winners. Mike Grable and Ben Garner are the owners of the Henri Etta Eidt House, winner for the 2026 Spirit of Preservation Award. Built in 1906, this Queen Anne Cottage Victorian restoration project was a labor of love for the owners who had a special connection to the neighborhood.
This In Town Outing will be a Come-And-Go style event from 6:00 - 8:00pm allowing you to explore the beautiful restoration at your pace.

Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show
Fuel up your time machines and join us on this journey through time as we showcase and show off classic and antique cars from across the decades!
With over 200 cars from the early 20s to the late 70s, the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show will represent half a century of restored, maintained and beloved vehicles from the past and bring out car owners from all over to connect with the community through a shared admiration of classic automobiles.
The Classic Car Show takes place on June 6th starting at 9:00 a.m. and continues through 3:00 p.m. in the Vandergriff Town Center at 200 N. Mesquite Street.
Accompanying these classic cars will be live music, a kid’s area, the Downtown Arlington Farmer’s Market and a variety of food vendors. Knapp Heritage Park will be open and offering shaded picnic areas with live music. The event is free to attend and open to the public! Bring your friends and families out for a great day of checking out cool classics and ageless antiques.
To enter your car into the show, visit the Downtown Arlington Eventbrite and press 'Buy Tickets'. Awards will be handed out towards the end of the show for the Top 10 vehicles along with the People's Choice. Pre-registration is required to enter the car show.
When the event is over, be sure to stick around and hop between Downtown's best bars, breweries, and restaurants. If you're a fan of cars or just looking to get out the house for a day, mark your calendars for June 6th and head on down to the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show!

Don't miss it! THIS IS NOT A CRUISE-IN, this is an actual CRUISE! Sunday evening May 17th we will be bringing back old skool cruising in downtown Midlothian! Join us as we turn back the clocks and change the vibe of an entire small town. Back in the day cruising was spontaneous... these days it takes some planning. So we will be cruising on a dedicated loop from around 6:00-whenever in historic downtown Midlothian. As you classic car people know, car shows are great, cruise-in's are great too... But there is nothing like the atmosphere of an old skool cruise up and down the blvd with a big group of cool cars. A lot of us are old enough to know how a cruise should be, and it is up to us to resurrect the magic. Bring your family and your favorite hot rod. Join the cruise or park on historic main and watch the sights for a while. If you are on the route, you are in the right spot, and as this grows and grows each month, there will be little pop-up car shows all over town where there is room.

The 56th Annual Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes
For more than 55 years, the Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes has invited visitors to step inside some of Waxahachie’s most treasured historic properties. What began as a community tradition has become one of Ellis County’s most beloved annual summer events.
On June 6 & 7th 2026, see inside six historic homes along with iconic landmarks throughout downtown Waxahachie. Each doorway opens into stories of craftsmanship, preservation, and generations who have shaped our community. Looking to elevate your tour? Cheese Making Class
Participants in this class learn how both Fresh Mozzarella and Fresh Ricotta are made.
Upon arrival, students dress to make cheese by donning aprons and hairnets. The event begins with a behind-the-scenes tour of the cheese factory. Once the tour is complete, the hands-on cheesemaking course begins. Participants will first learn how to make Fresh Ricotta and scoop it into baskets. Next, the participants are given a block of Fresh Mozzarella Curd, and they learn how to stretch and form many varieties of Mozzarella such as balls, Bocconcini, Mozzarella Rolls, and Queso Oaxaca.
The event concludes with a cocktail party – a wine and cheese tasting of award-winning cheeses produced by the Mozzarella Company.

Each participant receives a Mozzarella Company apron to wear and take home and the participants also divide up the cheeses that they have made during the class to take home.
Guests are advised to wear waterproof shoes with non-slip soles. All students must be 16 years or older.
The tour, cheesemaking session, and tasting last approximately 2 hours.
