Don’t have a furry drinking buddy to bring? No worries! The City of Midlothian, City of Red Oak, City of Waxahachie, City of Ferris and City of Ovilla are bringing out adoptable dogs from the shelters so you can find your furever companion. And if you do find that bestest friend, you can bring them back to Railport year after year! Can’t adopt long term? That’s OK! We will have information about fostering and/or volunteering for Pet Coalition of Ellis County, Flying B Rescue, Frankie's House, and Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue as well as other rescues in the area.
$35 gets you an event t-shirt and event pint glass with your first pour included.

The Candlelight Tour of Homes, held biannually in November, features properties throughout Grapevine's Historic Township. Shuttle service is available providing supplemental transportation for tour guests during the event. Check in at the Ted R. Ware Plaza, 206 West Hudgins St. to begin the tour.
As participants stroll through the Historic Township, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, docents will be present to greet all participants and discuss the distinguishing characteristics of their properties.
Included with your purchase is a tour book with a map of the homes open for viewing and a complimentary glass of wine for those 21+. Parking is available behind the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau at 636 S. Main St., and throughout the Historic Main Street District.

The DFW Car & Toy Museum is rolling out the red carpet for furry friends and their families with ” Pets and Paparazzi!” happening on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Outside of our curated vendors, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo.
The O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people.
We pride ourselves in being a completely "DIY" ran show from start to finish. We find so much joy in being able to provide a place where you can feel at home surrounded by others that share the same interests. Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show
Fuel up your time machines and join us on this journey through time as we showcase and show off classic and antique cars from across the decades!
With over 200 cars from the early 20s to the late 70s, the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show will represent half a century of restored, maintained and beloved vehicles from the past and bring out car owners from all over to connect with the community through a shared admiration of classic automobiles.
The Classic Car Show takes place on September 26th starting at 9:00 a.m. and continues through 3:00 p.m. in the Vandergriff Town Center at 200 N. Mesquite Street.
Accompanying these classic cars will be live music, a kid’s area, the Downtown Arlington Farmer’s Market and a variety of food vendors. Knapp Heritage Park will be open and offering shaded picnic areas with live music. The event is free to attend and open to the public! Bring your friends and families out for a great day of checking out cool classics and ageless antiques.
To enter your car into the show, visit the Downtown Arlington Eventbrite and press 'Buy Tickets'. Awards will be handed out towards the end of the show for the Top 10 vehicles along with the People's Choice. Pre-registration is required to enter the car show.

DFW Paper Show
Calling all lovers of old things! The DFW Paper Show is basically a treasure hunt for vintage paper, with dealers from around the region bringing old postcards, photographs, and all kinds of paper ephemera to Bedford. Think forgotten Texas towns, vintage travel postcards, old advertisements, photographs, and little pieces of history you can actually take home.
The best part? Admission is completely free, and you don't need a ticket or registration to browse. The show runs Friday from noon–6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM–6 PM.

Join Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for Wrinkles and Relics, a special afternoon celebrating second-hand treasures of every kind... from vintage finds with stories to tell to lovable Bulldogs looking to start their new chapters of life.
We'll be hanging out at Oak Cliff Revival, one of Dallas's coolest vintage shops, with some of our adorable rescue Bulldogs (including a few foster dogs) and volunteers ready to answer questions about the breed, rescue, fostering and adoption. Whether you're searching for the perfect vintage piece, considering adding a Bulldog to your family or simply want to spend an afternoon with some delightfully wrinkly faces, we'd love to see you there.
After all, the best treasures aren't always brand new. Sometimes they're rescued, restored and ready for their next chapter.

Preservation Dallas: In Town Outing to the Henri Etta Eidt House
Join Us for a special In Town Outing to one of our fabulous PAA Winners. Mike Grable and Ben Garner are the owners of the Henri Etta Eidt House, winner for the 2026 Spirit of Preservation Award. Built in 1906, this Queen Anne Cottage Victorian restoration project was a labor of love for the owners who had a special connection to the neighborhood.
This In Town Outing will be a Come-And-Go style event from 6:00 - 8:00pm allowing you to explore the beautiful restoration at your pace.
